Mary Wickentower is a resident of Sansara, the first and oldest
mainland continent in SL. She is owner / curator of the Art of Mary
Wickentower, an original collection of RL photography and abstract
photography. Mary is running for President on the Virtual Party
ticket and assures us that she is prettier than Palin and has better
hair than Bachmann. Mary is very active in the literary and media
community in SL, participating The Sounds of Poems, Photohunt, The
Artist Sandbox, as well as participating in a number of Machinima
competitions. Although relatively new to machinima, Mary has
gained some notoriety for her machinima such as the Journey Down
Moon River for the University of Western Australia MACHINIMUWA III
competition, We Make Sense for the Pop Art Lab Music Video
completion and Gibbet for the Machinima Clip Narrative Power
Competition. She also produces the weekly machinima series, Saturday
by the Radio. Mary is involved in the production of Corky Myrtles
show, Be My Guest, and Maximillian Merlins upcoming project, No
Panic as well as media production for DI technologies. Mary will be
on the 48 Hour Machinima Film Project team headed by directors Al
Pereze Yesikita Coppola. In an exclusive scoop, revealed for the
first time here today on the Spotlight, Mary is announcing the
début of a new inworld TV series, The Second View. The Second View,
a talk show owned and hosted by Mary Wickentower, Bliss Windlow and
Sarah Aldwych, will feature guest hosts from all walks of SL and
well as a pleura of artisans from many genre. In all the
endeavors which Mary tackles with a passionate drive and commitment,
the common thread is what her University professors described as an
uncompromising honesty that is both startling and exquisite.
