I have been messing with using scripted vehicles to create interesting visuals. This one is a bit hard on the eyes but uses a vehicle that flips around leaving you only crude view control with 'mouse look'. I LOVE this effect and just had to record something to capture it.This is a single unedited shot (squished just a little bit) to fit with the iconic theme from Kubrick's 2001 A Space Odyssey. The location is my island 'Pahute' bathed in extreme environmental light. As for narrative, I was imagining a falling probe buffeted by the atmosphere of an alien moon. Joystick controlled with a single thruster, the mission was to capture as much of interest before fuel expires and pressure causes the probe to implode. So get ready for 'stargate graphics', 'the monolith', 'hints of life' - and even an existential shot of the 'inside of my head' (a water reflection) at the end of the sequence!Must be worth the paracetamol...Enjoy!Ian.All imagery has been generated in Second life. No post processing has been applied.
