Exhibited during October 2010 and featured as a 'Second Life Destination', the Caerleon Museum of Identity featured the work of 18 artists exploring the nature of identity in a Virtual World. The Caerleon group consists of artists, writers, musicians, and scholars who are using the immersive and interactive digital media to develop new forms of artistic content. Members of the coalition are among the most respected and imaginative artists working in SL.The 18 artists participating in this collaboration include: Artistide Despres, Botgirl Questi, Cat Bocaccio, Chrome Underwood, FreeWee Ling, Fuscia Nightfire, Gracie Kendal, Ian Pahute, L1aura Loire, Lollito Larkham, Maya Paris, Nebulosus Severine, Pete Jiminy, Pixels Sideways, RAG Randt, Sabrinaa Nightfire, Taralyn Gravois, Wotthe Dickins.FreeWee originally approached me to make this machinima. Given the work involved the group really needed a record of the event. To this end I have tried to capture the essence and feel of the whole exhibition, rather than making an individual record of each artists work. I used FreeWee's beautiful architecture as an anchor. Each shot is a circular pan based on the centre of the building.Ian Pahute.
