The Mead Of Poetry, a new poetic account of an ancient Norse tale, inspired by Tolkien and written in the old Norse form of Fornyrdislag. Original poem, written & narrated by Celestial Elf.The Mead of Poetry (Old Norse skáldskapar mjaðar), also known as Mead of Suttungr is a mythical beverage that whomsoever drinks 'becomes a skald or scholar' able to recite any information and solve any question. In addition, Óðr can also mean "song", "poetry" and "inspiration", and as noted has connotations of 'possession'.More details at my Blog, The Dance Of Life ( http://bit.ly/OVUrKv )As Mimir's Head, Odin, Fjalar the wicked Dwarf (plus Bolverk aka Odin in farmers disguise & Young Odin) - Celestial Elf,As Galar the wicked dwarf, and Freya the Norse Goddess - Natascha Randt,As the Norse man, the Giant, his son Sutting, and Suttings brother Baugi, plus Norse god Tyr - Hotsprings Hawker,As the Norse woman, Giantess, Suttings daughter Gunnlod, and the Valkyrie - Josetta Peapod.Grateful thanks; The Well of Abyss co Laufey Markstein of Trident,Tyr's Palace co Nightshade Fugu of Frejs Harbour.Filmed on location at;Beyond the 9th Wave co FreeSky Republic,Ultima Thule co Miss Elisabeth McCallen.Soundtrack created with;Original Music Copyright Crum of Moonloonies;Limrune, Delusions, ( http://www.myspace.com/fastslug ).Also sample sounds from Freesound ( http://www.freesound.org/ )Authors include, hammerklavier, pax11, theredshore, alextundra, timbre, benboncan, digifishmusic, analogchill, erdie, freqman, sagetyrtle, filmfx, cgeffex, unclesigmund, the-barn, thanvannispen, issalcake.Creative Commons Sampling Plus 1 License( http://creativecommons.org/licenses/sampling+/1.0/ ) CC0 1.0 Universal (CC0 1.0) Public Domain Dedication ( http://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/ )Filmed on Firestorm Beta Mesh,With Windows XP using Fraps and Serif MoviePlus X3.Written, Directed and Produced c.Celestial Elf 2012.
